A design practice led by Arthur Petrillo, working across
brand, product, creative direction, and design direction.
Built like a bottega, we're a small, collaborative, hands-on
studio. Open to new projects with clients and friends.
Most companies keep brand and product apart. Two crafts, two teams, two standards. But I've never seen design that way. Half my career went into brand and comms, the other half into product, so I got close enough to both to blur the line between them. That's what I bring: studio-level craft, 3D and AI tooling, and a human-led approach, all applied to the systems a company actually ships.
The kind of attention that usually lives inside a studio, working inside the frameworks a business is built on. Since going solo, I've worked with Google and Google Creative Lab, Le Cube, Zoe, Sidekick, Talisman, U.N.N.A.M.E.D., Neon, Tamber, Vast, USBC, Deeds, Tilt, Tavrn, and PayPal.

The product
Tamber is a suite of AI powered music production tools that plugs into DAWs like Ableton Live and Logic Pro, working as a studio companion. You can talk to your DAW through voice, play the air with gesture control, search samples by feel instead of filename, and turn real world recordings into production ready sample packs.
The work
Tamber needed a full rebrand and a product designed from the ground up. Together with the Tamber team, we at U.N.N.A.M.E.D. designed the complete product experience, building the brand book, the design system and the interface styling, and extended the new brand across every touchpoint, from the product to Tamby, the mascot.

An always-on music producer
companion that listens to you.

Every way into the music
Tamber multiplies the ways an idea becomes sound. Speak to your DAW, shape instruments with your hands in the air, find samples by describing a feeling, or turn the noise of a street into a sample pack. However inspiration arrives, there is a tool ready to catch it without breaking your flow.
No more pasteurized AI music
Tamber refuses the one click song. Instead of generating tracks that all sound the same, its AI works like a bionic arm for the producer, removing friction while every creative decision stays human. The result is music with fingerprints on it, made faster but never made for you.

The product
Vast is a global bank built for a generation that lives across borders. One account holds dozens of currencies, moves money around the world in seconds, and settles at the real exchange rate. Vast needed a brand and a product language that made the infrastructure feel effortless everywhere it lands, from the app to the film.
The work
Together with the team at U.N.N.A.M.E.D., I directed the case film and designed the 3D icon system that carries the brand. The film walks through the rails behind Vast in plain sight, while the icons distill each feature into a single spinning object. Both were built to move, loop, and react across the product, the website, and the campaign.
A borderless account
A Vast account is not tied to one country. It holds and converts currencies in real time, issues local account details where you need them, and routes every transfer through the fastest rail available. Wherever life happens, the money is already there, working at the real rate with nothing hidden in the spread.
Built on rails you can trust
Under the interface sits a regulated bank, not a wrapper around one. Deposits are held at a chartered institution, every movement is traceable end to end, and the same infrastructure that clears for institutions clears your transfer. Speed on the surface, discipline underneath, at every scale.

The product
Wise moves money across borders for millions of people, and every screen is full of numbers that change by the second: balances, rates, interest, growth. The data visualization work gives those numbers a body. Charts, counters and markers that read instantly, feel alive, and stay unmistakably Wise at any size.
The work
As principal designer at Wise, I led the visual language for data across accounts. We built a system of motion first charts: the arrow that climbs and leaves a trail, lines that breathe with the market, markers that pin a moment in time. Every element was designed to animate, so as the money moves, the numbers move with it.
Numbers with a heartbeat
A balance that grows should feel like growth. The system animates value as movement: the arrow rises and a track of greens trails behind it, interest ticks upward in real time, and a dip in the market bends the line without ever breaking the grid. Data stops being a table and starts being a pulse.
One system, every screen
The same components render a sparkline in a card, a full chart in the app and a cinematic take in a campaign film. Tokens define the greens, the thickness and the easing, so any team at Wise can plot data that moves the same way, from a push notification to a billboard, without the need to redraw a single curve.

The product
Deeds gamifies friendship and human connection. It lives on the wrist and in the hand at once: a bracelet where every bead stands for a friend, and an app that lets presence travel between them. You send energy, receive it, and feel a friend's gesture land as light in one of your beads.
The work
With the team at U.N.N.A.M.E.D., I designed the product and the interface, helping to shape the brand's art direction from an existing identity. We brought intention and care into each tap, making it feel more personal than a standard notification.
Each bead is a friend
By embedding relationships in every bead, we transformed the bracelet into a physical representation of a social circle. We carried that idea into the interface with a warm, feed-free experience centered on people and their connections.
A wearable social world
With the app and product in sync as one continuous experience, you can instantly send and receive energy between bracelets. Each tap lands as light on a friend's wrist, transforming a digital gesture into physical presence.

The product
Frontier Health builds Juno, an AI teammate for healthcare administration. Juno processes referrals, validates patient pathways, books appointments, and keeps waiting lists moving across the systems the NHS already runs, so clinical teams spend their time on care instead of chasing the paperwork behind it.
The work
We gave Frontier Health its brand, its product, and the first version of its design system. The identity reads as clinical-grade calm, the product keeps staff in control of every hand-off, and the system gives a young company foundations it can build on for the next decade.
Admin that keeps care moving
Juno takes on the chasing, checking and waiting that every patient quietly depends on: referrals triaged, pathways validated, appointments booked and rescheduled without a human losing the thread. In its first deployments, it delivered months of admin capacity in weeks, making patient pathways measurably shorter.
Staff always hold the wheel
In a clinical setting, software cannot feel experimental. Every screen makes it obvious who is in control: Juno does the repetitive work, surfaces when a human is needed, and hands the case back cleanly for judgement. That visibility is the difference between trust and fear in a clinical tool.

The product
Talisman connects to a company's ledger and closes the books in a fraction of the usual time, automating the most painful corners of accounting. The product was already smart. The ask was to make it look and feel as intelligent as the engine underneath, and calm enough for a finance team to trust at a glance.
The work
We raised the craft across the whole platform. A refreshed brand, reworked assets, typography and illustration, and a tightened interface where hierarchy and restraint make reconciliation feel orderly and quiet. I also kicked off the design system, so the new standard scales with the product instead of living in a single file.
Calm is a feature in finance
Accounting tools earn confidence through precision. We tightened the system, the hierarchy, the rhythm, and the restraint, so complex reconciliation work reads as order rather than effort. A finance team needs to feel in control at a glance, and every visual decision was made to read as accuracy.
A brand that signals rigor
The identity moved up a class. Charts with real presence, posters that let the numbers speak, gradient strokes with a life of their own, and a mark precise enough that any company feels comfortable betting its numbers on it. Confident, warm, and unmistakably in control of the details.

The product
New Metaverse users started from a bald, androgynous avatar and picked every trait by hand. It took four minutes and fifty taps on average, and every extra menu caused drop-offs. People just wanted an avatar that represents them, without the work. So, we needed to transform it into an automated, short, and fun process.
The work
I was the design lead for the Meta Apps' Avatars editing tool, working with Research, Product Management, and Content Design. We art directed the 3D assets, designed the end-to-end strategy, the interface and the prototypes, enabling users to create their avatars directly from a video-selfie.

From four minutes to forty seconds
The frictionless completion rate dropped from an average of four minutes to forty seconds, and from fifty taps to six. Perfectionists can still build an avatar from scratch, while everyone in a rush gets one from a selfie and edits from there. For confidentiality purposes, more detailed data can't be shared.
An identity-agnostic warm up
Skin tone is a powerful part of identity, and getting it wrong was one of the biggest risks. So, while the result generates, an identity-neutral mannequin holds the screen. A loading state art directed with the 3D team to remain deliberately open, so no one is misrepresented while they wait to see themselves.

The product
Tilt lets people ride market trends with dynamic thematic investing. Instead of picking single stocks, you invest in the ideas moving the world, from EV adoption to open-source software, through themes that follow the trend as it evolves. The energy of a feed, backed by real market data.
The work
I arrived with the branding already in place and designed the product and the interface: the cards, the charts, and the rhythm of a feed where market data reads at a glance. The work was to keep the brand's energy while making every number feel trustworthy enough to receive investment.

Trends you can hold
Each theme is a card you can read in a second: the name, the move, the conviction around it. The card system turns abstract market ideas into objects with personality, so browsing themes feels closer to flipping through culture than scanning a terminal, without losing an ounce of precision.
An interface with a pulse
Green up, red down, everything else out of the way. The interface leans on the brand's slanted type and hard contrast to make movement legible at a glance, from a full chart to a wireframe, so the product feels alive in exactly the way markets are.
My role in the project
